Logistics
Visitors should enter through the Kalakshetra Main Gate (on Anna Street), park cars and buses at that location, and report to the Reception to get their visitor badges. The entry fee per person is Rs. 50/. The campus is best seen on feet.

Toilets are located near the theatre.

Visitors are advised to bring their own water. Non-vegetarian food and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the Kalakshetra campus.

There are no restaurants on campus. However, groups of 5 or less may make a prior booking for meals.

A Kalakshetra handout is available at the reception for Rs.10/-. It describes the activities of the institution and contains information. To find out more about becoming a student at Kalakshetra, please contact the college office on campus. The college students study from 8:30 a.m. to
4 p.m. Part time classes in dance and music are from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for all ages, thrice a week.

Dress Code
Visitors are advised to dress with decorum to keep with the aesthetics of the institution. Students and staff wear traditional Indian clothing (saris for women, dhotis for men). While there is no restriction on what visitors may wear on campus, modest attire would be appreciated.

Groups of 6 or more
Groups of 6 or more visitors are requested to contact the Kalakshetra office before their arrival to register for a tour. Please contact the numbers below for more information.
